As lovers of all things Halloween, we planned our weekends to hit what seemed like the hot spots. Our first stop, The Last Ride. this would be the one and only haunt the older two kids came along to. They feature a haunted hayride, haunted house, and an 18+ hearse ride.Though we didn't go through the haunted "house", which is actually 2 trailers linked together, we heard plenty of screams and saw quite a few running out of the exit while waiting for the hayride. It was pretty chilly out, but thankfully they have a bonfire going to keep you toasty in line.
WE went on the hayride last year as well and were pleased to see they added a scene from Jeepers Creepers. While I won't give it away, it had the kids screaming
and us nodding our heads in appreciation. Classics like Jason and several chainsaws, plus a twisted clown rave party... Plenty of live actors, who seem to enjoy it as much as the riders. By far the best hayride we've seen in a while, since Tinker Tavern Rd has long since closed. Definitely a must do!
