Of all the ones I've been to, Cayo is the best haunted house in driving distance of scarycuse.

Thanks for posting the review. How are the lines/wait times to get in? Or what are the best dates/times to go? We're in Syracuse and not sure if we want to make the drive if we are going to be waiting in line forever.

I dont think at this point in october you can really pick a bad date or time they will all have their "A" game and have wait lines long for sure since this is the height of the season. The drive is far though, but like i say if you are going to get in the car and drive an HOUR away from syracuse for a haunted house i think its the best choice. I haven't been to blood creek manor in 2 years but i dont think i'm going to bother unless i read a good review or something. i'm thinking i might go to the last ride after reading your review and others! not too far and sounds genuinely good.

When I went to cayo a couple weeks ago, the wait for the first haunted house "biotech" was about a half hour to 45 minutes. Fortunately the wait was worth it. I made the assumption that either the actors went on break or they had an issue because once the line started moving, it was moving pretty consistantly. The wait for the second haunted house "biowar" was about 15 minutes total. Even with the initial wait to get it, I would do it again.
I also drove out from syracuse...

We are from Syracuse &went the first or 2nd monday this year, and last year during the week possibly a monday also. Both times no lines and a great price, $15 for both which is cool!!! The entire place is like being in a NIN video <3. I screamed quite a few times, I am usually not a screamer. I am a Halloween junky I'll hit up as many as I can, but this one is different, more creepy scenery, imagery and apocalyptic fantasy. I read somewhere on here of someone saying it was low budget, not true at all everything looks like professional movie stuff no walmart masks etc... even if you hate the place you have to respect the effort put into it, the guy must work on it almost year round and it shows. The names are the same as last year, but it IS different inside!
