CMC'S HAUNTED HOUSE 2010

Let me start by saying. I went to cmc's last year for the first time, and it was AWESOME!!. Hands down the best one Ive been to in Syracuse. So opening weekend last week me and my girlfriend had to make a stop!. Well first off the positives, you enter the haunt from a whole new area, they had 3 themes inside which we are new and very original,also packed with actors!..not just monsters either many live victims!! which i dont see much. I dont want to spoil anything inside but the detail was amazing, you really feel like your in a whole different world!. Everyone should check this place out!!, but the reason I'm posting this is to vent on how my experience was pretty much ruined by two annoying teen kids. We arrived around 8:30 on sunday..there were two kids in line to go in THATS IT not a paying customer insight other than us..we buy our wristbands and get "in line"...we wait for maybe 5 Min's before a lady opens the door and says to me and my girlfriend "you are going to go through with these two kids"..i tell her id rather not we wanna go through with just us it would be better that way..meanwhile there is still no one else in line or getting tickets..she says with attitude "you have no choice we have to keep the line moving"..WHAT F'ING LINE!!!??...i say to myself...i go against my better judgment and say fine...as soon as we enter the house the kids began pointing out EVERY SCARE before it happened..we found out they had went through already once so the "getting caught off guard" factor was GONE!! GOODBYE!!..then twice a "monster" popped out only to remove his mask and high five and talk to these two kids we were apparently schoolmates...also came across a woman in a coffin with here mask off on top of her head just sitting there looking at us...and she said hello as she put in back on a and laid back into postion..YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!! I DIDN'T PAY MONEY TO BE FORCED THROUGH A HOUSE WITH TWO IDIOTS WHO RUINED A GOOD TIME..AND THEN SOME NOT ALL "ACTORS" NOT EVEN DOING WHAT THEY ARE THERE TO DO!!!...I DONT APPRECIATE NOT GOING THROUGH WITH WHO I CAME WITH AND THATS IT....THERE WAS NO LINE TO MOVE...THEY COULD HAVE LET ME AND MY GIRL GO THROUGH ALONE..THERE WAS NO ONE IN LINE EVEN AFTER THIS CRAP WAS OVER!!COMPLETE BS!!...cant wait to go to headless horseman tonite to forget that nightmare...

We take the comments made in this forum very seriously and use them to improve the overall experience of our customers. Combining smaller groups together was our attempt to improve the wait time of the "long lines" (a comment posted by another Scarycuse.com member). We never considered the fact that combining people in groups that did not know each other may impact or ruin the experience for others in the group. We also use monitors to help manage the 'tour' through the Haunted House to give our actors time to reset props, prepare for the next scare and most importantly help prevent experiences such as your own. We apologize for your experience and only hope that you will try us again. Tonight is our last night and we would really like to make it up to you!

i appreciate what you have said i didnt mean to rant on it but i did because i have been looking foward to this years haunt sense i walked out last year!...still the best one ive been in scarycuse!or anywhere close for that matter...and i will WITH OUT A DOUBT be back next year!..keep up the great work!!!
