Ok so when I saw on scarycuse. That the Mall Monster Maze at the FingerLakes Mall would have a special showing from 1-4 pm. I saw a chance for at least one more fright this year before I had my own terror duties to take care of. First red flag upon arrival we noticed an immense amount of small children in line. Which then it dawned on us that the mall was having some sort of trick or treat event. Now the haunt is open from 6 to 10 pm. So I asked an employee if this was going to be as intense as at night. I was assured I wont be dissapointed. Well I was!, the actors were half hearted at best, no theme, litterally had 8-12 inch gaps in the "walls" where you could see monster milling about waiting to scare you, but I scared them a couple of times!! lol. There was little to no detail just endless "hallways". I counted 5 scream dudes only cool one was the scarecrow one. I will say though the place is HUGE! if they would put some effort into it could be great. But just putting up black walls, and a gravestone here and there aint gonna cut it. I can honestly say in my 22yrs this the only haunt I havent got "got" in ever!. I could go on and on but all in all stay away!! BTW man in guerilla suit trying to be king kong come on?...hope our 10 bucks went to a good cause
