This year I will be bringing my daughter. To her first haunt...gonna take her to Howling Hayride in Dewitt. Was my first one too when I was her age. It got me thinking about the haunts I used to love as a kid/teen. So I'm curious if anyone remembers any of these haunts. Haunted House On The Hill... was in a actual old house on Onondaga Hill. loved this place!...its rare that a haunt is in a actual house...this was back before people complained about fumes from chainsaws. I used to love walking through that place...and you would start to smell gas....and BAM! chainsaw attack!! inside!!.....not outside when your exciting...miss that!.....another classic I can never forget is Hollywood House Of Horrors at the Grove in Jamesville...used to scare the hell outta me. But I couldn't stop going...wish they were still around. Final throwback haunt was in a strip mall in Fairmount...I think it may have been Autumn Nightmare (Creepy Camp) but I'm not sure...but that place has always stuck in my mind....

I remember jaycees haunts, When I was a kid, Penn Can mall had a jaycees haunt that was pretty good.. And was a big fan of a few the march of dimes put on.. In fact, they did one about 7 yrs ago in Cato, and it was pretty good!
