Went to CMC's Haunted House this weekend. This year's it's "The Asylum." It's an all-new theme once again this year, and once again they killed it! This is one sick dance team! The haunt was chock full of all kinds of scares and "what the heck is wrong with these girls?" moments (dog cages?!?!). These folks sure were creative in their use of this theme. You can tell they put a lot of time and effort into creating the haunt (as they do every year) and it shows in both their attention to detail and enthusiasm. In fact, you'll meet one of the creepiest characters while you watch the video story of the asylum, before you even go inside!
I also appreciate that they got rid of standing in line a couple years ago. Instead, you get an "accident" number and go in when you're called. They offer a movie on the side of the barn as well as concessions while you wait. I recommend going early or you'll probably be waiting awhile, because they give plenty of time between groups so you don't run into others inside, which I appreciate.
