A bunch of us went to booville this weekend. It was a lot of fun, and definitely more than just a haunted house.
It was $18 for all 3 houses or $10 for one. Phenomenal price because you cant find any one haunt around for $10 and you can't really find 3 for $18 anywhere either, and like I said, way more to do than just the haunts, but thats what my main thing was. I'll review them each:
The Attic: If creepyness is your thing, this one is it. At one point we walked by a large pile of sewing machines and other old antiquey items and wonder what they were about, and then I remembered we were supposed to be in an attic. so the whole "attic" thing was sort of lost on me quickly, but they had some cool scares! very cool. The closet thing at was a favorite for sure.
The Cage: This was the worst of the 3 in my opinion. You could see through most of it because it was a maze of fencing with hay and stuff. sort of a farm animal theme with a pig man oinking around on the floor. his knees must be killing him! Theres a werewolf in there too, and its a cool costume. I wasnt really taken by surprise in there except once when the pig man crawled right through a hole in the wall and got us that way hahha. It was fun, but not scary. the cage definitely felt like a filler attraction that not as much went into. The cage was lacking but I think either way the ticket price is very fair. so its like the cage was free anyway.
The Incinerator: This one is the one of of the ticket takers told us was the best. It definitely was good. had an industrial vibe to it and lots of confusing fog and darkness. Cool concept, very similar to cayo industrial. I didnt really feel any intense heat while I was in there like someone mentioned,m but it was cool overall. some of the banging done by scare-ers was a little loud though.
I give boovile 4 out of 5!
